How to mod rev limiter - HP Tuners

Жыл бұрынThis is how you mod, update, or change your rev limiter in HP Tuners. The vehicle this tune is for is a GMT900 so your application may vary and need slightly different changes. The stock limiter has the annoying throttle cut, while this modded one has more of a classic bounce.
I will post another video of what it sounds like.

Great video! im trying to get the extreme bounce rather than the laggy bounce like its going to die.

the cateyes have a throttle cut as well it’ll just sit there and not bounce back

If you enable spark cut only and disable fuel/throttle cut, can you acheive the BANG BANG BANG kind of stuff? Im tuning a gen3 LQ4 so i have cable throttle. I want that 2 step backfire stuff lol Figure if it only cuts spark and has to drop like 3 or 400 rpm, might be enough delay to get some raw fuel in the exhaust thatll light off when the limiter quits. Thanks

All I wanna do it be able to rev my car in park or neutral like a traditional car rev it all the way to the red line but my vw golf tsi auto stops about 4000rpm what can I do to bypass the silly low rev limit

Easily achievable if you purchase HP Tuners and mod the tune yourself. Or purchase a mail order tuner assuming you have the option to change that.

I can do another video on how to remove speed limiters. HP Tuners does support some Nissan cars but check their website

Hey ☺️ The Camaro V8 Gen6 have a soft Limiter. But i want a Hard Cut when i drive manuel with my Paddels on the steering wheel with my AT Gearbox like in this Video of a Audi RS5 ( kzfaq.info/get/bejne/pdeYeNmGnLaqf6s.html ). Do you know how i can change this? Best regards 🤝🏼

Rev limiter settings can only be changed by a tuning software such as HP Tuners. Specifically how within the software can vary slightly from one car to the next but in general it's done the same way like I outlined in the video. So in order to do it you will have to purchase HP Tuners or pay a tuner to make the modification.
