Ooh, I might have to order the Clippard plate to replace the 3D printed one I currently have. This one looks like it blends in better!

Man, I wish I could eye ball stuff like that. I’d be off enough, that nothing I drilled would line up. 😂

It just takes practice and in fairness, I kinda cheated as far as eyeballing that hole. Once you nip the stud that the fake Clippard mounts onto you have a really clean circle right around the spot you want to drill into, and it's pretty easy to center up on and punch.

Thinking about doing this mod but I’m not sure if I want to deal with the headache of ripping out the fake copper wires. Real Clippard valve is already installed I just gotta get the longer screws

I wish there was a way to remove it without ruining the pack. I want to alter mine to look more GB1 style, but also dont want to destroy anything on it. Really hoping they decide to release a 1984 version this year for the 40th.

I know you mentioned you had. 10/32 screw. Do you remember where you purchased it? Bout to get the clippard disk cover

What copper wired are those?

They can with a kit made by SR designs. Noe sure what type of wire it is

They're 16ga brown silicon wire, with a set of crimp on ring terminals and Copper tape on the ends.

As well as this, why did you not just use a utility knife or something to just cut the stubborn rubber bits to begin with…?

@@Gregors85Respectfully, pronunciation is a little off. Y’all pronounced it “Clip-pard”, whereas I believe it is supposed to be pronounced “Clip-perd” goofy stuff.

All good dude! If you're not interested in the copper terminal wires, there's an alternative method you might enjoy of just removing them from the pack all together
