I will show you how to moisturize your type 4 natural hair while its in a high puff! Moisturizing your type 4 hair can be difficult but if you follow this "How To" it should be a breeze. Your Type 4 high puff will be juicy and moisturized to the GAAAWWWWDDSSSS!!!!!
FYI : I do have low porosity type 4 natural hair! So as far as the products I used they are low porosity approved!

im glad you brought to light that high puffs aren’t that good to always style your hair in. they can SNATCH your edges and everything. there’s nothing wrong with doing it once in a while, that’s what i do. don’t get me wrong, i love high puffs. it brings out my facial features more and i can wear any outfit with it. i wear high puffs the day before wash day because i get the most volume. I also do it when my twist out frizzed up wayyy too much on a hot summer day so a puff comes to the rescue.

When my hair was loose , I did a double pouf. I carved out a pouf in the center of my head. Banded that. Then pulled the surrounding hair up. That way I didn’t have to pull as tight to get the whole thing up. Your hair looks super cute.

thank youuuu for this video! all the ones i saw on doing a high puff only apply gel, no type of moisturizer whatsoever, and my hair is super frizzy and dry when i wear it out in a high puff, so this video was really helpful (esp when i don't want to go thru and spend 45 minutes detangling and defining my curls). i've also never been a fan of eco styler 😅 glad it wasn't just me.. it's a bit too thin for my hair and doesn't last long 🤷🏽‍♀️

Lori Moore I use a detachable bra strap & adjust the strap to tighten. It wear mine loose because I am tender headed. I remove the strap every night

Hey Chaz, I wanted to thank you because I discovered Keracare Curlessence products on one of your videos, and it’s been AMAZING on my mixed type 4 hair. Their cleansing co-wash is dope!! I just got their shampoo and conditioner. It’s been so difficult for me to find shampoos that don’t strip my hair, turn it into matted dread locks, tangle it to death, not really clean it, or leave a weird filmy sensation, that I’m not allergic to, OR WITH A MILLION CHEMICALS!! 🤦🏽‍♀️ Then finding a conditioner that actually conditioned my low porosity hair, didn’t just sit on top of it, wasn’t watery or too thick OR POISIN🙄. Lol I have a shampoo graveyard under my bathroom sink. 🤦🏽‍♀️. So thanks. Keracare has been EXCELLENT!! I’m confused, when you say you had the puff for 3 days, are you sleeping in it? I ALWAYS take mine out, ALWAYS!! That would have to be so bad for your hair. Also I learned not to do a puff on soaking wet hair lol. I know you know that, but maybe someone newly natural doesn’t? I SURE DIDN’T!! Lol 😂 I wish you had Spanish subtitles for my hair group. That video you did on about different textures of type 4c hair, I’ve been saying that FOREVER!! I think a lot if people need to hear it. Type 4 hair is beautifully complex and has way more than 3 subsections!! My sister has silky, curly, type 4. I have silky coily type 4. My niece has coarse, coily type 4, another has silky, wavy, type 4, but we’re all 4b-4c. I love how diverse and special our hair is. I also appreciate you being one of the few truly coarse textures, doing natural hair content, for REGULAR people who aren’t hair gurus. I have about two styles. But I love my natural hair and take a lit of pride in the care of it.

I use the EcoFlaxseed when I do slick backs. It makes my hair soft and I noticed that it doesnt break my hair as much as the regular Eco. I put a litte of the regular Eco on top to give me some extra hold, tie my head and make sure its fully dry before heading out.

A hair steamer does wonders for remoisturizing hair. I tuck my ends so they're not exposed. So my puff becomes more of a bun. I use a 100% pure mulberry silk scarf for bed time and sleep on a 30 momme silk pillow case. This all might sound extra, but it helps so much! P.S. I DON'T USE GELS!

my biggest problem is how dry it gets. I usually puff when im lazy or after an already dried twistout which doesnt help of course lol. and once i get my hair in a puff it shrinks so its shrunken, dry hair...not cute

Wetline xtreme changed the game for me. I was a eco stan for so long, but could never wear a sleek puff or ponytail (even on stretched hair). Spent $3 at cvs and never looked back. Got2Be is too rough, I've only ever used it on wigs.
