dont know if anyone was having this issue too but i dont realize i developed a really bad habit of holding crouch/slide and jump at the same time when hyper gliding when you need to jump then ctrl i was so confused as to why i couldnt do this but just a tip make sure you dont do what i do

movement tip for my self when i come back to this video in the future summary: your dumbass couldnt replicate the curvy nature of mooon walking but you were able to replicate the speed increase form the moon walking tech theres two parts to the fake moon walking 1 jumping forward(go fast brr) and 2 sliding to continue momentum (keep going faster brrr) the first part is a simple boost (moon tech-ed) while normally one would think of moving straight when boosting in this case one must look at something to boost AROUND(will help with the momentum) when it comes to timing before letting go of landing it seems to be exactly "1 Mississippi" then "2 Mississippi" in the normal pace that you count in your head. 2nd when it comes to swiping imagine a decently large 3 x 3 box and in the middle is your cross hair seems that when moving you want to go swipe from the 1st collum 3rd box to the 3rd collum 2nd or even 1st box(bottom) but tends to be the 2nd. lastly in the short time your on the ground hold A W sprint no crouch. Side note for those who read this: this is meant for me when i come back to this game. I dont know if it will help you but if it did cool if it didnt watch the video idk.

To get it initiated, you need to be good at the long jump, or super glide, not sure what people call it. You can also initiate the moonwalk by wall sliding, because you need be going a decent speed for it to start. Good way to see if you are good at super gliding is going into the dorm, and trying to super glide from one bed, skipping one and landing on the third. So the sides with 3 rows of beds, try super gliding starting from one of the end beds to the other. If you are able to make that jump like 50 percent of the time the problem is not super gliding for you. I hope this helps, if you cannot figure it out, you can also upload a video of you attempting and I can try to figure out what you are doing wrong.
