if you don't have all 10 villagers, you're gonna need to put down a vacant ĺot for them to move into before you talk to them on the third day. dont be like me and have to make 2 trips haha

Do the kk slider cards and sahara etc. work as villagers that can move in or do they just only come to visit as if it was their day normally Edit: also do normal amiibos work too, or just the acnh cards

Hi there! So main character Amiibo only work for Brewter’s Cafe, Phototopia and in Happy Home Academy. You can scan the main character Amiibo whether it be a card or figure at any of those places. They cannot have a house on your island. But at Brewster’s, you can scan a main character card or figure and they’ll visit the cafe. At phototopia, you scan them in and you can use them to take photos. In happy home paradise, you scan them in and can create them a vacation home. Hope this helps!

@@ashsnapem thank you for the informed response, i wanted to get my kids some amiibo figures and then i found out about the cards when i started playing acnh last month, got my kids two year island to 4 stars in two days lol they greatly appreciated it and at first they were helping me understand the ins and outs but now im the one explaining the mechanics of the game and unlocking so much 'new' stuff for them they have been missing out on for two years, or is it three now? I got it day one for them so i think three years, really cute game, im kicking myself for underestimating it and overlooking it for so long, im hooked

Every time after you make them what they request, you need to talk to them again. After the third time, you need to keep talking to them and they will eventually bring up wanting to move in. If you are full, they will ask who can move out so they can move in.

You can scan amiibos on your Switch Lite BUT you can’t scan them into New Horizons until you’ve unlocked the full resident services building and have built up the campsite area they give you to build

When it comes to using the campsite and Amiibo cards, it doesn’t matter how many days. If you have an empty plot, they’ll take it. If you don’t have an empty spot, you can tell them who you want to kick out.

Idk how to explain technically like how they’re built but Amiibo basically have a chip or something in them that your switch/ds can read and generate things in your game.

If they say it’s full, that means you have to kick someone else. You can only have 10 villagers.

Once you have resident services built and have the campsite built, you need to have one random villager stay at the campsite before you can use Amiibo.

Best places to buy now are Target or Amazon. I was collecting these back in 2015 when they first came out so I got them from all over like Best Buy, Amazon, Walmart, Target, etc.
