What the hell, I thought you were going to replace the battery??? Taking it apart is easy. I wanted to see how you were going to handle actually replacing the battery...

There is a button on top of the handle. Press it in and remove the handle. You can purchase a new handle part ( the whole part with charger socket and battery pack inside) from amazon , and replace it.

@@PlentyofVideo I replaced the single faulty battery but didnt have the spot welder, so I used a metal piece as a spring between the case and battery (use some glue so nothing moves) - works fine

Repaired it by putting wires on negative and positive of battery. First fix of this kind that involves soldering iron, multimeter and stuff. But when putting together, plastic battery cover didn’t fit too nicely for some reason.

Everyone seems to have this screw at the top to split open the plastic over the battery pack...theres none on mine and it wont open so i can even get to the battery pack

I have the same problem with my JOLT brand gun. There are no screws on the top, and I am hesitant to force the plastic components for fear of breaking them to access the battery

hmmmm. My battery reads 24.4v, but I can't get any reading at all at either end of the connector that goes from the board at the charger socket to the board with the display on it. I guess the board with the socket on it is fried. My gun is a different make and model, but looks to use all the same parts, so I guess the board is in a lot of cheap guns, and should be easy enough to source

Video is a bit misleading as it doesn't show replacement battery, reinstalling, or a cost or link to the replacement, I bought a Renpho gun about 18 months ago and paid $85. If the replacement battery is $75, it's now a paperweight and I can save my time and effort.

My battery has about 16v, but when plugged into the pcb, when I meter the connector it only shows 1.16v. Any idea what's wrong there?

It’s was totally unnecessary to disassemble the massager. The battery can be removed simply by pushing the black button on the side and pulling it out
