Brilliant. Was so close to getting a new machine after trying two new silicon rubbers with no result. My coffees taste even better now. Tightening screws removed all the side spray from my machine. It did take patience and 2 hours...watching and rewatching. I ended up with 3 extra screws...and one white piece which fell off while taking back off. I also drilled holes for the future. I'm thinking maybe draw a template that allows holes to be drilled without the two hours of pulling apart and putting back together...you could print off and drill from template. Thanks again!!

Thank you very much!! Now all apart and pressure guage is NOT registering. So another brave Ninja showed how the pressure attachment was so clogged with calcified and even runny white liquid... I am really going beyond my skill set by attempting this!!@ but hopefully u have posted the next step for me... 🙈

Thank you for this. One of the switch for the hopper became dislodged on mine. This helped me re-seat it.

This video helped to find screw on the back under the plug. And 2 screws to remove top cover. P.S: there is black thing, you pointed as solenoid... I believe it is a high pressure Pump. Solenoids are higher above the pump on both sides.

you can put a strong magnet on the side of the screwdriver to help pull out that screw

Worked a treat thanks. Newish machine that had the flow meter connection "potted" at the factory. The remove and refit sorted the issue though😎

The positive and negative leads look like they were soldered and almost riveted or crimped together, not sure how to remove them and redo the connection… 🤔

I have two things: 1) I dont see a point in removing clips 06:13 before you loose those screw at the bottom 08:04 2) 06:13 - from my point of view applying a lot of pressure just leads to some damage. First, loosen those screws at the bottom (previous point) and then I slipped flat head screwdriver between those plastic covers and it popped out very easily

Hi, I have a Breville Barista Max Espresso Machine VCF126 which was working. Now, when I switch it on, it beeps but there are no pumping noises. After a short time the steam lights flash but there are no noises. The machine stays like this, flashing lights and no noises. It therefore won't make coffee. The grinder works perfectly. Do you have any suggestions on what might have gone wrong and what I should look for when I open the machine. Many thanks

easy as pie after watching this video. I have an issue with no pressure on the steam wand, how can I tell which of those plastic tubes would be the one feeding the steam wand so I can check for mineral deposits?

nice as far as you went. However, more of the external panels need to be removed to access the screws holding the hot water pipe downspout assembly. 2 of the 3 screws are accessible as far as you went, but the third screw is under the front panel. How do you take that off?

I have the same machine and for some reason after following all these steps the back still won't come off. It feels like there are still screws in the bottom. I did buy it in 2018 🤷‍♀️

Very good video. Thank you. However i cNnot for the life of me figure out where my leak is coming from. It appears at the bottom undrr the area of the tray on the right side. Always a little puddle under the machine after brewing. I thought it was the drain hose but it looks fine.

Good video. Most videos I see have the two screws on the top near the reservoir base. It was also good seeing that it takes a bit of force to get the back off. I always wonder if I'm fighting a clip or if there's some screw still holding everything together. I had a water line clog that was easy to clear once I got the back off.

Do you have any idea where to find "the electric fuse"? My machine very suddenly stopped turning on (after about 2 years of use). My guess is that a fuse was blown. Thank you for showing this on the 1st generation of this espresso machine. I can’t get good extraction from it my Burr has no adjustment so I have adjusted my external dial but still having issues. Could it be because of the hard water I use for some years. Even tho I descale it every time was need it. Or can the the pump be the issue.

Changing and cleaning the steam wand would be greatly to see a video on how to do.

Hey Aju, I'm aiming to do a replacement of the grind actuator switch today (the switch that's pressed/depressed when you push the portafilter into the machine to get it to dispense coffee grounds) and am curious as to whether you've done this. I figure the actuator switch assembly (actuator and cable) is behind that white face plate on the right side (if you're looking at it from the back) of the machine. Can you confirm?

Aju, I did the pressure test and pressure is good. Could it be the coffee beans grind?. I have it to fine grind and my Burr doesn’t have adjustment.

So mine wasn't pumping AT ALL and the pump was making a hellish racket and I took it apart and the filter between the tank and the flow meter was plugged, so I removed it and sprayed it with a de greaser and blew it out with compressed air, and now it works like new again

I was hoping you can help me or point me in the right direction. When I turn it on the water is running from the espresso extractor. No steam is coming from the steamer or hot water. After a few minutes the pressure pops the portafilter out.

Bought a used machine with water leckage. Fixed it by changing the saftey valve. Also the pump didn't work at all. Changed the pump and all is tight and pump is working. Now I have this problem: as soon as I switch the machine on the pump starts to pump. All the time running. Steam, hot water and brewing all is working but the pump runs endlessly. Do I have to change the control unit? Or any better ideas?

Its hard to see the water level when the machine is under the counter... have you thought about making a video to add some LEDs coming up from the base into the water tank?

Well I took my machine apart as you showed. Couldn’t be sure of the source of a leak. When I reassembled, the machine only clicks and lights up the program button. Nothing else. In other words, it has stopped working.

The problem I had with my first unit was this: When attempting to brew a cup of coffee, the unit would either keep brewing until the coffee was undrinkable or it would not run long enough and the coffee produced was way too strong. I cleaned the unit as best I could but it did not help. So in the end it was just too much trouble to get a good cup of coffee out of it, so I decided to replace it with a new one, which has been working great since I unpacked it.
