How to operate a forklift - quick how to video on how to operate a forklift.
Also, it has been noted that I missed speaking on the pedals. There are THREE pedals - gas, brake and another pedal that essentially puts the forklift in neutral... it'll hold the forklift in place but you can press the accelerator to lift the forks up faster if needed.
How to use the 3 different levers and what to look for upon beginning your operation. Also a little tip at the end on some safety practices.

I’m 31 years old I haven’t driven a forklift since I was 19. I have a interview tomorrow for a warehouse haven’t worked in a warehouse since I was 23 maybe. Thanks for the reminder this is very helpful.

The ones that I use have a forth control for the forks, they control moving the forks closer and further away from each other.

Going for my forklift license soon as part of a job, never really even looked at a forklift. This video was actually quite helpful, would have been good to cover the foot pedals as well, im guessing there is only an accelerator and brake ? Thanks

Better late than never, sorry about the delay - there are actually three pedals... accelerator/brake/and a third pedal which acts as a neutral gear and brake - it allows you to hold the lift as if the brakes are applied but use the accelerator as well... it is mainly used to speed up lifting something very high or help when lifting something very heavy. So you would depress this third pedal with one foot and use the other foot to press the accelerator. that was a great question though, and glad that this video could be of some help.
