I just redid some of our books last night. Fun to see how others do it. I love the seasonal books at the bottom of the stairs!

I’m doing some of these things but you totally pulled it all together for me. Thank you. One little thing i do that others might find helpful - i write inside the cover if the book is used for a particular curriculum that i intend to reuse, so i don’t declutter it.

Perfect timing! I am doing this later this afternoon. I am putting away all the books that are not age appropriate. No more baby books for my first grader.

What a great video! One thing I struggle with is remembering what seasonal books I have that are stored away so I’m definitely taking notes and will be implementing this system into our home library.

I love watching your book hauls and organization! Do you have a video about what books you use for Government and Economics? I have a hard time finding good ones.

I watch my grand daughter and am working on building up my library for her. Trying to organize them and remember what we had when I was out was hard and I have purchased double of some books because I just couldn't remember if we had it already. I love using LibraryThing that you introduced me to in a past video. I have most of my grand daughters books now scanned in and am working on my personal books. Have you ran into not being able to find some books on LibraryThing? I have a few that I can't find and can't figure out how to add them. I didn't think about using the dot system and seems like a perfect system for us. I can't wait to use it to see if it helps me find books faster and put them back in the correct spot. Thank you for sharing all of your organizing systems as they have helped me a lot!

I started scanning and putting stickers, but never finished. I got overwhelmed lol. Need to get back to it . Love all your practical tips.
