Ye galti mujhse hui thi..it took a toll on my mental health..i went into depression because it takes time to buy a property from loan approval to paper signing, registree and then interior work etc & it all takes time...But people can't tolerate at all you purchasing a property they hate you and start talking about you on your back..Talk rubbish on your face to break your self confidence..Makes you feel down so that you don't feel happy in your life..You should guard yourself from the evil eyes of relatives

Guruji your idea of taking loan from father/in law is great but sometimes creates problems in marriage. If the son gets a loan from his father and property is joint name with him and his father then the dynamics in marriage change. Very few women will be comfortable living in such houses after marriage. Plus it will give a handle to the father to control the living conditions of the couple. A female wants security that the house (nest) is secure for her and her children if the husband dies or some other like calamity strikes. Such an arrangement also creates problems if another sibling claims inheritance citing father's joint name in the property

For example Lets say main retire hota hu as a private employee aur meri total savings hai 70 lakhs.. aur main isko FD ya mothly schemes me daal ke apni pension type le raha hu jiss se mera guzara chal raha hai.. Kal ko meri beti ne ghar lena hai.. aur vo bank loan nahi leti aur mere se le leti hai then risk factor mere liye to badh gaya na.. Ab ye mat socho ki apni beti hai, itna vishwas nai hai and all that.. Agar vo bank se loan leti to uspe pressure rahega ki EMI deni hai.. agar apne papa se legi then she will be casual about it.. Kal ko koi extra kharcha ho gaya then she might say ki iss month nai de sakti..ya fir sach me job chali gayi aur 3-4 months nai diye paise... ab papa to kuch kahenge nai na usko.. par papa yani mere liye to mushkil ho gayi na.... Beti ko kuch keh b nai sakta aur Rishte kharab hone ka darr alag... Haan agar meri alag se pension ho aur mere paas extra paise ho dene ke liye, then it's a different thing..

I was in same limbo. Recently purchased 1.5 million property in Melbourne where we live. Both of us are working in tech with good salaries. We have now house and car mortgages plus child care ! Recently my manager got fired. Atmosphere is pretty tense as tech market is going down the drain.

I like most of your videos but this one comes highly impractical and nonsensical for following reasons : 1. If a person loses job, he can still pay rent because he would have that cash in reserve which you suggested to use as down payment. With this money he can pay rent for many years to come. 2. He still has option to borrow money from Father to pay rent if he loses job. 3. On the collective saving of his and his father's money(40L + 60L) he can easily earn 70k as monthly interest to pay out rent for many years to come. You are trying to make virtue out of home buying which may or may not work for someone. You can't say that home buying is the best decision in every single situation on earth.

I shall never buy house if not i have that amount as disposable income. Bad law and order , whether it is legally built or not, taxes after taxes by government , maintainance, rental problem and over all less return on asset .. a big no no for a middle class person who has ancestral home for shelter. Look at china , real estates are crashing.

Guess money in pf could work as a cushion in addition to emergency fund. If you dont get a new job, you can withdraw that pf ammount and use it to pay emi till you can find a new job or you can sell that house without going for distress sale

Sir a big question should a graduate student of general category with a gud family background go for government exams like SBI PO or IBPS PO or is it better for me to move towards corporate sector. I genuinely do not feel like to go for government exams at all dk why but parent's saying to try it but I don't want to waste my my time in prep of something which I am not sure of rather I feel like to upskill myself alot and enter in corporate. Because once u enter into government job it's really hard ro backoff. Everyone is saying it's secured for life but I don't want a type of security where I'll feel stuck rather than secured. At the end hardwork is everywhere nothing to compare where you'll have to work less more it's all equal at present time.
