I have the meteor and the burrito bag is a home run. Unbelievable difference in how much easier it is to pack. I like to put the fly on the outside though, so my tent stays cleaner if I have to unpack it on wet ground next trip

My method for years: (1) Put tent poles in bag, (2) Stuff the tent in the bag [none of this folding crap] yes, just stuff away, (3) repeat with fly. Done. :-)

@@triumphrider9396 Wow, nice! I stuff because I heard a long time ago that folding could compromise the water repellent or weaken the fabric. Plus stuffing is way fast.

30 years of doing just this! and I have a Sierra designs tent that is 20 years old... only failure is rainfly is pealing waterproofing. Tent looks brand new and rainfly outside looks like new. I like the new bag style, but wish it had some "dog ears" at the end of the top flap, to protect the contents just a bit better.

I take my Gossamer Gear the One and not so carefully fold up and stuff it into the top of my pack .. or if damp/wet into the mesh pocket of my pack. Quick or a very lazy guy.

Sounds like I'm way more anal about it. I straighten the mesh as best I can. Square up the bath tub folds. Then fold into thirds or whatever the bag dictates. Fly starts with center peak and layed our in half. Depending on shape I fold in following any seams until I get the width of the bag. Then I roll both up with the poles with mesh on inside to protect inner from moisture. Folding carefulling then rolling prevents a nasty crinkly pitch the next time your set it up. Yuck. Funny some of BG tent promos have the tent pitched and you can see that some one just stuffed the fly the last time it was tore down. Horrible. Why? Well I have a Rock 22 that's 25 years old and I've had hundreds on nights under is fly....and PU coating is holding up. I don't think stuffing these 10d tents into a crinkly mess then storing will they fare as well.
