Lonnie, I hope I speak for everyone... but at least for us, watching the packing videos... the sound of the tape didn't matter! As far as we're concerned... save that extra money & just keep on keeping on!

I agree. I never even thought about it amd never knew quiet tape existed lol and if you got quiet tape then you'll have to get quiet packing paper to go along w it! 😋 I think the tape sound gives the full experience but if you just wanna try it out go for it!

Lonnie, I am speaking for most of us but these videos on how to ship are immensely appreciated! If noise bothers you, just turn your volume down. Then start up the cc / or subtitles. Simple solution. You are generous with your knowledge. Thank you so very much

The tape is actually quieter than the paper 😂. Don't waste your money on quiet tape. I don't mind it and others have said, that's the sound of money and sales. Thank you for doing these packing videos. I love them ❤

When I first started selling on eBay, I was in a bedroom right next to the master bedroom. My ole lady would get ticked when I’m packing orders at 6 AM before I have to go to work. We have since moved the eBay store to the opposite side of the house. I told her that sound is money. As far as you changing your tape, I wouldn’t. It doesn’t bother people that pack orders and if you have new viewers looking into this, that’s a sound I got to learn to hear.

As a Program Manger in the elctronics field - my position is mostly stable - I ended up about 3 years ago "helping" in shipping and man is it ever relaxing - I've been doing that including deliveries for my company just to fill out my day. Even with my daily shipments I thouroughly enjoy your process - Please don't change out the tape - I have tried the silent tape and it doesn't haver the proper adhesive in my opinion - We use Gum Tape at work but I have been using more of your tape just to hear it roll out. Always be hunting.

Thank you so much for the packing videos. When I first started in October I had no clue about resizing boxes. Thanks to you I am getting much better at it. Love y'all's videos..... All of them and as far as the tape sound, I wouldn't change a thing. 😊

The loudest noise on your packing videos is the tearing and stuffing of the papers. That is not a complaint, just an observation. Good selling to y'all.

@Lonnie have you ever used gummed tape/ wet activated packing tape. (Like the stuff amazon uses) i switched to it and love it cuts down on how much tape is used and really bonds to box. Can even get like logo printed on it.

Lonnie the sound of the tape may bother you, but I for one don't mind it at all. I know it's your choice but think I'd miss the tape noise myself.

I didn't mind the tape sounds. But if you really want some, I found Uline makes a 3" quiet tape. I saw it on Amazon

You should be able to filter out most of the tape and paper ripping noise instead of spending $180 on tape that probably isn't as good as what you are using now

While getting the 'quiet tape' why don't you start a reaction channel also where you listen to rock music. While listening to the rock music, pause several times during the guitar solo. We are here to watch you pack boxes. Noises are a part of packing. The noisiest things are bag shaking, you talking, paper ripping and scrunching. The tape noise is way down the list and we don't want to lose any of the noises. Thanks, someone who watches someone pack items up to 2 hours at a time.

Usually Ground Advantage. If you look at the thumbnail for each item it will say what the buyer paid for shipping. In the event of a multi-item order it may say some amount refunded of the shipping. On rare occasions we will do free shipping, which will also be disclosed in the thumbnail.

I am really enjoying your packing videos, I am getting ideas and tips by watching your videos on becoming better at packing. I do have a question for you and hopefully you can answer it. I am a reseller myself and my expertise is mostly movies, video games and comic books. So a lot of the time when I sell a video game or a comic book, eBay doesn’t allow me to ship media mail it’s only with video games and comics, any idea why this is, or what I could be doing wrong? Thank you so much if you get around to answering.

You aren't supposed to use media mail for video games, comics, magazines.
