You know, you can make dapples with pastels and a kneaded eraser by putting on a dark color on a light horse and making a tip on the kneaded eraser and erasing little ringlets. I did it and LOVE it!

Instead of making dark grey circles on a light background, would it be less work to make light grey dots on a darker background?
