I have been a watercolor artist for many years at81 with a number of health issues that have impaired my memory I found it so frustrating I gave it up. But I have been watching your videos and finally subscribed because your videos are so inspiring and I feel that I can do some things again. I can't thank you enough for what you're doing. I am making a couple of journals I would like koi fish in them so I decided to try to paint some small pictures of them using your video. Holy moly that was a whole lot of words to say what I wanted to say😂

Diane, I started following you a few months back and wished I'd known of your channel earlier, but still I'm happy I found you. One treat in starting late to the game in following your channel is that I get to binge watch all of your past videos, like this one. I'm a huge fan of Koi and I've never seen a video tutorial as easy to follow as yours is, and as pretty! You are such an excellent teacher and so talented. I love starting the day with you, sipping my coffee while I listen to your calming voice and watching you peacefully sketch and paint. Tamsin, great job, as always on the photography and sound/music.

In the United States we call that brush a rigger also. Anyway in the painting community in Hawaii on Montana that I lived in it was so

I love this and really enjoyed painting this. We have a koi pond that we put in 26 years ago, and just lost one of our fish that has been there from the beginning. He was yellow and white, but we have a couple that are this coloring. Thank you!

Beautiful painting! 💗I will definitely give this a try! I already painted a small goldfish, however, I will paint the koi on my lager pad. I don't have a rigger brush so we'll see how it turns out.

Thank you! If you don't have a rigger, use your thinnest round brush and hold it right at the end away from the hairs, to give you the maximum movement in your strokes. Good luck and let me know how it turns out!
