I did go back and try to find the original class that I took on Skillshare, and I could not find it. It was probably eight years ago, so no telling where it is now. I hope you enjoy my version of painting an avocado and it makes you feel as encouraged about your painting process as I did the first time I painted one!

I love the way you teach. You show that sometimes things don’t go according to plan, but you always say “that’s fine”, and you continue, and no one can see anything wrong. It actually IS fine. Some of us tend to stress so much that forget to enjoy. You remind us to lower our shoulders a bit and just have fun ❤ Thank you for that ❤❤❤

Very informative tutorial! I've always been intimidated about watercolors, especially becoming a mud blob! HOWEVER, thank you for breaking everything down into simple to understand techniques. Ps I have a friend who doesn't like to eat avocados so I may just get inspired to make sure he can enjoy one!❤

Determination and passion for the medium got you there! Good for you, Andrea. I was so bad at watercolor when i was in design school (100 yrs ago) I let myself be downgraded a full letter grade because it was required to avoid it. I loved and was good at, pen and ink rendering so my entire portfolio had no watercolor. It got attention during interviews, which I think really helped me get a good first job. Always follow your passions!
