In this watercolour tutorial we look at a colourful and expressive bird with some wonderful markings, the Pheasant.
As always, the aim in this one is to create an expressive and fun watercolour painting that captures the essence of the bird, gives some information about how it looks, but doesn't get bogged down in detail or perfectly replicating the reference photo.

-Pthalo Blue (very cool, you could replace with indigo or Prussian)
- Quinacridone Red (any cool red)
- Aussie Red Gold (convenience colour, burnt sienna and orange would be nice together instead)
- Aureolin Yellow (just a touch with Pthalo gives a lovely turquoise)
