I’ve been painting motorcycle parts for 35+ years but I can only do hard lines this type of work has always amazed me

This was amazing only a handful of people in the world have this talent.

I'm really disappointed in the almost 200 people who gave this a thumbs down. Apparently they have never tried to paint a motorcycle let alone get the tape on one side match the other.

when i was way younger we had a ride at our county fair that had cars that was essentially a merry go round for young kids. the cars had this kind of paint to them. its fascinating to see how this is done

Man i am starting to paint, i have to use sprays and do it in a dusty garage (witch not helps) and i still make a lot of errors, but i have to say that i learned a lot just by watching how you mask. Amazing art, amazing paint skills and amazing video edit.

Just stumbled across this video of yours . before I graduated in 97 I took a 3 year course in auto collision repair and I can do custom paint jobs . Nice job by the way😎🤘🏁. I did a custom paint job on my dads 75 super glide harley chopper . Even you know this your suppost to put your light colors down first and dark colors after since it takes less coats of light colors. well I did the opposite. I layed down a few coats of blackon the tank and fenders then when cured I wet sanded each layer . once cleaned I used thin pin striping tape and layed out flames on the tank and 2 fenders . then masked off the rest I didnt want painted . I had to lay down several coats of yellow to get the color to fully coat and be brite. then I used blood red and painted the tips and around the inner curves . whats cool is the light over spray of the red when it hit the yellow turned orange. once I got the flames painted I let the paint fully cure and peeled of the masking and pin stripe tape . then I wet sanded the flames mainly the edges to blend . well once I got to where I wanted the tank and fenders I did sever coats of clear and each got wet sanded . once finished I polished the clear coat . the fenders and tank looked like they where dipped in glass and the process gave the flames a 3D effect like they are trapped and when you run your fingers over the flames you can just barely feel them and their smooth 😎🤘

1991 we painted motrcycle helmets a couple of old bass boats old 15 ftrs bumper covers on cars just a hobby back then for me making model railroad scenery 3d model printing

For those of you that are listening to this guy & taking his advice. Do so back when I started doing this KZfaq wasn't around. I did what felt right imagination was the limit. Then I found out about airbrush magazine. Anyway after 16 yrs been away getting back in to this after 2 years of not doing any hobbies. Going strong back in to this & yes I for got some of this. There is a new way if mixing paint out with the old ta hell with that. The only way to do this is Ol School just as I am learning right now. Thank u for up loading this. I want to spray a candy red lace gold flake.

I'm a wheelchair user and just thinking custom jobs on wheelchair frames and things like walking sticks would be great, one or two wheelchair companies kind of do it, they have certain designs they can do but it's a rare thing, the market for it wouldn't be huge though.
