Bravo to your industriousness! Two things that might help: when preping the concrete, one might consider a renting a larger sander with 60 grit diamond wheel typically used for concrete smoothing. I winced a little when I saw you caulking the floor and using your finger to spread it smooth. For a perfect line, get the blue tape back out, apply it to your freshly painted and fully cured floor, then caulk and smooth with your finger or a caulking tool. When you remove the tape you'll have a perfectly straight, clean line.

J Mo - If you really don't want to be sexist, refer to females as women, not ladies. Men/ Women. Ladies implies someone sitting on a cushion with a cup of tea. Women is the equal of Men. Just words. But words make a difference to how we perceive ourselves. Otherwise we would have to call you Gentlemen and not Men. Also the fact that we are not using Women and use Girls or Ladies to refer to females implies that Women has a negative meaning. It does not. At least not in my world.

No one ever calls men 'gentle' any more. And when you use 'Ladies' to mean women, you imply that they have to behave daintily and demurely. Not so. We have reclaimed our savage selves thank god. I'm in the process of converting my garage into an art studio. The construction process has gone over budget, so I decided against tile or hardwood. I am staining the concrete floor because it is more beautiful than painting it. But stain is more expensive than paint. I was concerned that the paint would flake or chip over time. Stain won't do that. But I think if I had a nice beige carpet, I would have just hired someone to clean it periodically instead of ripping it up and painting the floors. I have dust mite allergies, so I can understand not wanting carpeting. But this was a lot of work. Glad you like it. You did a very nice job.

Thanks for the step by step video!! Lots of work. Love the vlog. I dislike carpet as well. Will try this out. Maybe in a small room first. Btw love the paint tray. Like the paint color and end result is awesome!😄👏👍

Very nice job, floors look great! I hate carpets myself. Full of fleas and dirt! Concrete is so easy to maintain too. Love the way you dressed appropriately and did a real DIY video, not a crafting project, as most women on KZfaq do. Looking forward to learning more from you, especially carpentry. Well done!
