You claim that the Kilz product is recomended for garages and other drivable surfaces. Kilz website says it IS NOT RECOMENDED for garages and other drivable surfaces. I can only wonder how many people made that mistake based on your review. You need to make a correction or remove your review.

The problem with this channel, as well as other 'review' video channels, is that there is no real independent _tests_ with accompanying _independent reviews of tested performance_ . These are only advertisements for the products, only restating the claims of the manufacturers.

With the water protection spray (#2) can you use that over painting the floor? As a protection layer? Looking pulling up the carpet in my basement and painting the concrete flooring. With product 1 would you need to use a primer? Or what items on this list would you need to use a primer? Thanks

I have used Rustolium Deck Renew a couple times on wood decks and it works and looks great. Been thinking of trying it on some concrete walk slabs. It comes smooth or textured but don't... use it on new undried pressure treated wood. Wait a year or so for the woods moisture to disappear. Anybody else tried it ?

I had a lot of problems with BEHR paint and that was just for a wall. It came off when I tried to wash it and also could not get it to cover well. I don't think I would by BEHR again.

I have clients that got their garage floor painted, but rust went through the pain, then they got another contractor to redo it, and rust came back again. Now it's my turn and I know there's got to be some simple solution. I would think that If I was a chemist I would have been able to create something that is easy, no brainer application that would seal and stick to anything. Anyone out there have some amazing stuff they've used and time tell story that it worked???

My basement had old tiles that was glued down. We have scraped the floor of the best we can. It’s all black I’m guessing the glue was black or it’s just dirty mold. We have scrubbed the floor is clean as we can get it. What paint will be best to cover glue on an old concrete floor?

please advise your recommendation for a full-size tennis court in southern ca. not used for tennis, occasionally used for wedding receptions. bare concrete never painted, rough surface but sound 40 years old. I'll be doing this with some local help. I would like some type of green color if possible, if not ok.

I've been in the business for a few years now!! About50 years! From personal experience with any BEHR products, including Concrete floor Coating, I never walk away from them!!!! JUST Run away as fast as I can. Cheers!

BEHR AND RUSTELIUM . NO WAY that stuff is crap... So many law suits and is a night mare to remove after fails. Drylock is pretty decent but proper surface preparation is a must to avoid failure. Strongly recommend gridding the surface for a new and clean surface.

Don’t waste your time and money with the rust oleum I applied it and 8 months later if peeled off called the company they were no help stay away

Same thing for their spray paint. Overpriced and prone to clogging. If you contact Rust Oleum customer service, they'll give you the runaround about the expiration date on the bottom of the can. At the Big Orange Store, I choose the generic stuff that either on the bottom shelf, or on the floor. It is superior to Rust Oleum and 1/2 the price.

I had the same issue with Rust-Oleum.....spent 2 days preping the floor and acid wash.....6 months later the paint peeled.... terrible product!

Problem is with most concrete is the moisture comes from the ground through the concrete and will lift the paint by creating bubbles that will work loose. Paint doesn't hold up well to concrete or wood. It is a constant maintenance thing. If you insist in paint Tread Plex from Sherwin Williams holds up pretty well. We paint all our floors at work with it. Personally I like concrete stain better than paint.

So if Kilz is slip proof then it will show all black tire marks when used on a garage floor. So you’ll have a nice looking area everywhere but where your car is parked.

Put a water base paint on my concrete floor in the living room then a top oil-based polyurethane(ask the clerk at HD for a clear water-base polyurethane /didn’t double check myself) but it turned yellow andthe paint was white. Can I put a Oil-based paint on top of it, to fix it?

I used Kilz over armour on my outdoor wood panel bench for testing before applying it to my complete deck. I followed complete instructions and After 1 Summer, the paint chipped and peeled away. Very disappointed with this product, will never try it again.

Clean it really, really well and prime it if there is any question and you should be good.

The answer is always yes. Cleaning , degreasing, dry, repair cracks, then apply coatings.

This video covers products available from Home Depot stores in US. Because I think the quality of paints from HD are on the inferior side I didn’t bother to watching the video and went straight to the comments. It think this video isn’t going to be helpful or useful for most people. Painting of any type but especially for concrete requires serious preparation which was not covered here. That shortcoming is enough to disqualify the video. Don’t think you’re going to learn anything useful here.

I used that Kilz Over Armor paint on my patio and it bubbled up after 3 months. Had to do 2 coats also because of the spotty look after the first coat. Now I`m out the money and time. I`ll never use any Kilz product again. Shit product in my book.

They suggest that you always do two coats. The second coat will be easy if the first coat is applied right with the right amount of paint.

Kilz Wood/Concrete covers 75 sq', two coats recommended. So, for a typical 2-car garage measuring 576 sq', that would be 15+ gallons. It's about $30/gal. That could get pricey.

75 sqft x 4 = 600 sqft,,,that'll be 4 gal for 1 coat, 8 gal for 2 coats x $30 = $240...rather inexpensive...esp. if labor is free.🤔🤔

Do not take any of that advice, the best is a 2 compound epoxy coating, not paint. Paint wears off. Epoxy will not wear.

Behr's Grip paint product is the worst on the worst on the market!! you end up spending more than $2000 to finish up our small pool deck area and afer few weeks passed, paint started to chip!! Won't recommend!
