Hi mate. So not sure I'd deny that. You have tints on the original hue for many of the paints. However if that's the only information that you've been given then that's misleading. Some of the triads also have a shift in hue to maintain vibrancy. For example some of the greens. Whose videos are you particularly referring to?

@@medheadfulZumikito and Juan Hidalgo both mentioned that in their videos. Of course this wasn’t the only thing they said about these paints, overall they liked them a lot for their properties. But they encountered some problems while mixing them sometimes, the paints turned out greyish because of the added white and black pigments. I really do think intend to talk them down, your weaver is vibrant enough :) Just wanted to ask your opinion on that.

Yeah very interesting. I did watch those videos. Hidalgo bought the smaller kit so was forced to mix the colours I guess. I did mention on his video that i thought his assesament about dumping titanium white into the hie colour was over simplstic. They have done this but there is a shift in hue in some cases as well. I mixed moldy wine into black as I needed a desaturated base layer. Ya know, I guess i would say that if you have all 6 colours on the original hue coloir you don't really need mix anything. That's the point. You can hand paint a cloak in very gradual step ups that it makes it unnecessary to mix. Saying that though I have the FULL set so felt no need to mix paints really. I just try and show people how to paint and they can pick up the colours I use. I really don't worry too much about the finer points in these videos.
