With the amount of nids in levi, you might aswell pre-mix a 1:7 vol pink n contrast medium in a 30ml bottle

Thank you so much for this. Leviathan has been my favourite Tyranid colour scheme since the 90's and I'm definitely going for this one with 10th. Your tutorial could'nt be more well timed. I have adopted scheme for my leviathan nids. However,I have found that mixing 2 parts slyish purple to 1 part medium for the first layer of the carapace gives a more pronounced edge highlight effect when you go back over the armour recesses with neat slyish.

Rather than using wraithbone at the end to highlight would it not be quicker to dry brush the whole model with wraithbone after applying the first contrast paint? This could also increase the edge highlight on the armour once the purple contrast is applied?
