Great tutorial! Working on a Gondor army at the moment and this tutorial will be really helpful! I've not seen the shields painted as wooden before. I always thought they were metal!

Thanks man!! Ye I tried a few diff technique, but getting a good effect on the armour first and then doing everything else seemed quicker and the overall look was better

Really good mate, find a lot of KZfaqrs have the camera too far from the model to see what they're actually doing, this is perfect.

@@TopTableGaming Worked really well. Had to adjust the colours very slightly to match what I had in stock but not a problem. I think you're spot on doing the armour at the start, makes it a lot easier!

Really nice - at first I thought there had been an issue with the soray can, but it looks like it was a xenethal highlight (i think that's how it's spelled!) Is that right? Either way, the end result is top notch!

Correct, I tend to use a dark brown and a bone colour rather than black and white, it more subtle

The original undercoat prime looks oddly textured - it's a plastic figure right? What did you prime with before the initial Leadbelcher and other bases?

What size and type of brush was you using Steve? Seemed like quite a bigish brush for such fine detail.

Mainly size 1 or 2 I find dependant on the brand some brands size 1 are like other brand size 2 lol But then I do use a 000 for eyes etc but only now and again.
