Really enjoyed this lesson. Thank you for the detailed explanations you give while painting. Some painters paint so quickly they do not take the time to explain what they are doing.

Like your work, John, thank you. really wish you would describe the colors you are using as you use them. I get it that some people don’t need/like that, but for me - it really helps in color mixing.

Chap in lavender in my mind put him cycling away towards arch. Then you put car headlights coming towards him. So i would have done tail lights. And i think your sky was spot on as you have to have light for reflections. All it was missing was a scooter!

Thank you for the input! I think those changes would have made for a better scene as well! It's one of my weaknesses that I make my street scenes a bit too bland so I will have to try something like a scooter on the next one!

Karel here I am confused about neutral tint. Why do you use it. What exactly does it mean? Can you explain someday.

Excellent video … amateur comment perhaps but I think you could have improved by finding some way to introduce some stronger warm colours to contrast with the predominant cool tone
