Thank you it worked! For all the people in the comments that say it doesn’t work: you can put an adapter to it with a switch on it. You can get it for like 3 dollars.

Mine didn’t have that switch but I just bought some in November 5,2019 and it still worked I thought it wouldn’t but it does, I was about to return them cuz the control wasn’t working but now I don’t have to. The brand of mine is Monster

Try 2 things: 1. Replace the batteries if the red light isn't bright or it doesn't stay on 2. Try unpairing the remote from the light strip (turn off and on, then hold Speed DOWN until it blinks) and then do the pairing steps. I had to do both for mine to work but now it does. I think the remote is going to use up a lot of batteries because mine only lasted like 2 weeks with some brand new batteries.

I have a Monster Luminescence and your fix worked for me with a bulb. Turn the bulb on and hold the S like the video shows.

Ok so i took the battery out and put it back in. It worked but right away it stopped responding. Even tho the light on the controller lid up when i pressed it does it mean the battery isnt strong enough?

This is bs! I dont have a switch and I tried everything yall said. Still dont work. I'm stuck on a solid white light. Only time I see multiple of colors is when I unplug it and halfway plug it back in.
