Thank you for this great video! I've made a mess of avocados in the past; your method worked perfectly today in a minute! I didn't use my hand as the backing, I had it on top as I cut around the avocado, then used the spoon method to get it out of the peel. Thanks again.

I've been struggling so much with mashing up cold avocado so the method you used of slicing it up before taking it out of the skin is so insightful! I will try that and tell you if it works 😁

u fucked up. a razor blade is the best tool to use on many fruit. just cut off the steam stump and glide the razor down to the bottom to the butt. do it all around the fruit and then just peel away the skin cause it comes off super easy

do not follow this advice NEVER use your hand as a backing when using a knife I've seen to many times when this has gone wrong
