Only ever used f1 laps and that was it omg finally doing the rest involved might make it alot more realistic just tried and it defo works f1 laps said 102 but really its 103 quali and 104 race (BAHRAIN) but will use for all thanks

Do you do this for every single race or does it work to do this process once and adjust over time as I improve?

Yeah I do this for every race. Most races are a similar difficulty however there are differences sometimes. IE I’m 105 in Austria, 101 in Great Britain and 110 in Monaco.

at level 65 i'm easily p1 in qualy but in race my tyres are getting slower after 7 or 8 laps and ai isn't affected by tyre degradation, so i have to be on 3 stops because of this and usualy finishes p17 of p18 after 1 extra stop than the others. also, having penalties actiivated forces you to be cautious and slower during races, and ai never gets penalties too. obviously this game isn't design to play on full lenght races against computers. between laps 20 and 40 there is a bug and no more notifications on screen when you get penalized. i wish ai wasn't that stupid and get penalties or make mistakes too.

You could lower the difficulty in the race, or if you’re a PC user, visit a race Department online and use Mods where the AI tyre degradation effects them more, or make more mistakes.

awesome, was looking for ps1 and ps2 alternatives, but maybe if there is a mod who disable tyre degradation, it can solve the issue!@@F1LukeSam

This is spot on. I do 100% length races and I have had to set the AI to 50% just to have a shot but then pace falls off the cliff and could not not figure out why. I even ran the same track with the F1 mod in Asseto Corsa which as better physics so I was faster there so I know my lines were good. Read your post and the reply now explains it. The Ai is error free and dont have any Performance fall off. F1 Luke's replay explains it. I may try the mod just see if I can compete in my team mode as of now I am getting Ate up at 50% AI levels.

I’ve got a rig from Next Level Racing. Fortunately it was sent to me curtesy of NLR but retails for roughly $1,600AUD. The wheel is a Logitech G29, with a MVH Studio modification I’ll upload a video onto my tiktok explaining everything in the coming days :)

What I take from that is that you need to work on your consistency. Like me you can put together a good lap to qualify well, but can’t put together continuous consistent laps over a race

Trying hard I got 3rd place at 50ai with maybe 3 upgrades on the Mercedes’ in single player my career. Comp Sting myself to others I feel like im unconsciously retarded or something since people are running 80+ but my god the car won’t go any faster. I’m not incompetent lol
