Wavedashing has been a staple of Melee for a long time and for good reason. It allows for complex and fast movement and is part of why Melee has survived so long. So I made a short tutorial video! Do the triggers on the Pro Controller also buffer the airdodge? I'm always jumping too high but then again it might just be me doing it too slow lol

Do you have to redo dial storage every time you wave dash if you don't enter an art?

You have to redo dial storage every time you press neutral B.

Hmmm, I think you're probably returning the stick position to neutral too late after your airdodge. It can also help to just hold your special button for a little longer so it doesn't select an art. Practice some more and you'll get it!
