The engineers should’ve made it so when you start the car you have to push the button to make the car do the start stop feature instead of having it ON when you start your car.. smh I hate modern day individuals forcing you do to things their way. Great video

When I talk to my local Ford about installing one of these parts they said that they would not recommend because it would permanently disable the function causing the start stop function to never work again . I had just bought a 2024 Ford escape St line . It's it's really something my brother his girlfriend, my boss at work have fords and absolutely hate the auto start stop like me . I was thinking if the automakers wanted to do something good , even though they did overbuild certain parts to handle the wear and tear from.contant start stop . They should have overbuilt everything to make the vehicle last twice as long . I think personally this will cost the battery to go bad in 3 years plus put so must wear and tear on the starter and other parts .

Yeah this forced feature is crazy. I pull into my garage and come to a stop. The engine turns off. I a few seconds later put the car in park and it starts the engine just to go into park. What a waste.

If so many people are annoyed by this function, then why is it needed and why can’t you just turn it off forever using the car’s standard tools?
