Materials :
We used the Oracal 651 Vinyl in Color Gray (for this project) - amzn.to/3hrTIXJ

Silhouette Cameo 4 machine - amzn.to/3cxcCK9
Transfer tape (this is the link of the transfer tape that I used on the video (but there are more great quality transfer tape that you can find also like Oracal brand). - amzn.to/2QL1X81

Hello Bonita, Thank you. Honestly, that was our question too when we were about to buy this product last year. I was torn between the two. But personally I ended up getting the Cameo 4 because it prints a long vinyl stickers (not only the square size of vinyl). it prints continuously. Although I still didn't use that feature but that's the one that solds me. They said cricut is more easier and user friendly. At first I was confuse about the instruction with the Cameo 4 machine. But once you figure it out, it will be okay. So far, I like it and no regrets of getting the Cameo 4. Still learning little by little but as now I just use the very basic which is for balloons and some water bottles label only. Thank you.

Hola Ivonne. Gracias. Primero pegar el papel (vinilo) al tapete (unirlos) luego cargarlo en la máquina para cortar el diseño deseado (diseño de letras). Puedes comprar el papel vinílico en Amazon. Por favor revise el enlace en la descripción. Buenas marcas son Craftables, Teckwrap y Oracal. Luego, después de que la máquina corte, usará cinta de transferencia para transferir las letras a los globos o cualquier elemento que desee personalizar. Gracias.

Hello thanks for sharing this. What do you use to transfer the vinyl onto the balloon? It seems as if you were rubbing hard to transfer it to the machine but how would you rub so hard on an inflated balloon?

Hello Karen, we use transfer tape. When it's being transferred to the balloon it will still transfer even if you don't rub it so hard. Thank you.

What is the cutting mat for? Is it necessary?

Hi JD K, I heard that this Cameo 4 machine don't need a cutting mat, but I am use to using it every time I cut my vinyl letters. I like it because I sometimes use a vinyl sticker that is not a full size of 12 x 12, I use scrap so it is a great help to hold the vinyl.

Hello Ivy, Do you want the Thomas and friends Balloon or the vinyl sticker ? if it's the vinyl , sorry but we are still so new to this Vinyl making and I am still learning more with double colors :) and also I think we cannot get an images of Thomas and Friends through Silhouette because that is a character that is registered by certain company (copyright issues). Maybe there's another train images but not exactly Thomas. But if you want the balloon decor Thomas theme, then it will be easier for us :) Thank you so much for the support.
