This video is very helpful in deciding my storage options. As someone who downloads a lot of music on spotify in addition to taking photos of my art plus I don't really want to store everything on the cloud I will probably go with the between the 512GB and 1TB because on my previous phone I used up almost all of the 256GB I had.

This year I’ve had my eyes on the MacBook Pro as my old laptop ( Dell ) is very outdated . I’m currently trying to save for a new one however I’ve not been as fortunate with jobs this year. hello Matt! great work on your videos, i always find myself looking forward to a new one every time. congratulations on 450k subscribers too, you fully deserve it, this channel is amazing. unfortunately i don’t think i’ll be able to get any new apple products this year due to financial issues. regardless, i am keeping up with the new updates as they come, and i must say i am really excited for ALL of them, from the new macbooks to the iphone 14 pro max. i am basically loving all apple has to offer right now. specifically, i would love to get the new macbook pro - i am an art director (designer) and i use a lot of design tools on my 2020 macbook pro, which hangs sometimes when i am simultaneously working on different projects and tools (indesign, illustrator, figma etc). i know for a fact, that this will be a big upgrade for me. btw, i still use a 1st generation iphone se, which is funny cos i am definitely under the “due for an upgrade” category haha. i am definitely looking forward to getting an upgrade as soon as i can. thanks for this and keep up the good work you do with your videos, cheers.

The size phone that I correctly have is 32gb 😭 for my next phone I want 512gb because I'm a big storage gal I feel like 512gb is perfect for me because I take a lot of photos and download a lot of apps and documents etc. Planning to buy the iPhone 14 Pro Max in Deep Purple Favourite thing about it is the dynamic island! love how it's capable of displaying multiple background activities at once, such as when the timer is counting down and when you're listening to music. When that happens, the island splits into a larger pill-shaped area and a smaller circular area, so you can see and interact with both activities love it! Apple knew exactly what they were doing with the pill shaped notch!

First of all of Matt, I love your channel and all of your videos, Although I didn’t “like” them all I absolutely love them, it’s just because my liked list is my music playlist as well, but I watch tech videos all day long on KZfaq as I’ve been in the industry myself for decades and you’re not only one of the most entertaining and knowledgeable, but also very neutral and not bias and I appreciate that honesty because it makes a big difference when people are making expensive purchases based on recommendations from professionals like yourself so thank you very much for your service Matt, I really appreciate it as do many others who watch your channel. As far as Apple tech in 2022, I would love to have, well all of it of course HAHA, I definitely need a new phone but I’ll be getting some AirPod Pro 2’s and the Apple Watch ultra for sure and I’m in desperate need for a MacBook upgrade. Might wait and see if the M1’s go on sale when the M2’s come out but I’m in no hurry.

First time viewer, loved this video! You provided great insight that eased my nerves about which storage size to choose from for my next phone. I have been using an IPhone 8 Plus for the past four or so years. It has served me really well and getting rid of it will be hard but it’s definitely time, especially with 5G being everywhere. That being said, I have a new IPhone 14 Pro on the way and I am so excited for it! I was a little worried about the storage size I picked (256 GB) because of a video I watched from another KZfaqr saying it wouldn’t be enough due to the size of media outputted by the new camera. This helped me realize 256 GB will be more than enough for me. I also wondered if just getting extra iCloud storage would be better than forking out extra money for a larger phone and you answered that here. You pretty much saved me at least $100 so thank you for that! In regards to other apple products I gave purchased or wanted to purchase this year, I ordered my girlfriend a pair of version two AirPod pros for her birthday and I’m looking forward to giving them to her. I let her have my first edition AirPods and she fell in love with them. Sadly, I had them for many years prior to giving them to her and they are slowly becoming unusable. I also wanted to purchase a new MacBook to replace my 2019 Air but unfortunately they’re just too expensive to justify a replacement at the moment. I appreciate you taking the time to read this comment. I don’t expect to win anything but if I did I would be incredibly grateful. I always get the least. I used to always buy the 64gb and only ever filled a bit over half, and now I get the 128gb. I keep very little music on my phone. I did briefly contemplate the 256 because I like to set my camera at the highest setting but I still went with 128 and my phone is at 42.7 gb of 128 gb so I’m good 🤗

Waiting on my 512gb pro to arrive. I have about 150gb of music on my current phone and I don't like to rely on having service, plus I like to support the artists and buy it outright. The 512gb model allows me to have all of my music on it and not worry about having to taking anything off when I buy more. Plus I'll have plenty of room for the occasional photo and video and all my apps.

Great video Matt! I think 256 GB is the perfect amount for me. I believe i would take a lot of pictures and videos and download a lot of apps. I believe you can also film up to 4k in prores if you choose the 256 GB storage.

I currently still use the iPhone 6S Plus which is a real oldie today i assume. I loved photographing Architecture but over the last 2-3 years I lost interest in this hobby because I felt like my camera wasn`t holding up to the standarts anymore. I would really love to get an iPhone 14 Pro with 128 or 256 GB so I can get back to it and try out all of the new camera features! :) (I don`t even have the portrait mode which i love when using friends phones haha)

I am so close to replacing my 128GB SE with a 14. It's time, and I loved how good the camera is for photographing miniatures (paintings and figures) when I checked it out at an Apple store. I laughed so hard when you mentioned the number of photos that can fit in even the smallest storage option. I'm a photo hoarder and need to get myself under control, not have more room to go wild 😆 ETA: I use 2TB iCloud storage, discovered I needed it for ease of moving from device to device while working from home.

Very nice video and good information for everyone... I think 256 gb is correct option for daily users & 512gb for video makers

I choose the 128 GB versions the last couple of yrs. Before that it was 64 GB and way before that 16 GB 😅 128 is more than enough for me as I have a 200 GB iCloud subscription. That leaves me with so much free space on my iPhone. Only using less than 40% of its capacity most of the times. Even my both sons are using my iCloud space 😊
