How long do they last in the jar? And do you keep them refrigerated?

Depends on the water temp. Without a water cooler mine lasted a good month. But I have them in the winter so it was cold will garage all the time

What happened at the end? The jars weren't filled to the top. That's going to cause contamination. What a rookie thing to do!

When I can peppers I always flip them for a month or 2. You are correct make sure everything is pickled
