How about all pieces on board with all 4 players placing their 1-square piece last?
@UnorthodoxMasterOfGames4 жыл бұрын
FortNikitaBullion You ask for the world. Yet I will give that my best attempt with all this extra free time I have currently.
@toby61803 жыл бұрын
Named after Bernard Tavitian, creator of the game, "Tavitian Order" is playing all pieces in descending order of size (5's first, then 4's, and so on, with 1's last). That makes it more difficult, but it should be possible to do.

Can you tell me the context in which your friend said DSFR? Maybe I can help you. By the way QDS means quit drinking soda, my friend's New Decade Resolution for 2020 which she has kept so far!
@UnorthodoxMasterOfGames4 жыл бұрын
New DECADE resolution? Wow that will be impressive if she can hang in there for 9 years and 9 months longer. I have some Pineapple Fanta that I can't resist, it's quickly becoming one of my top 3 sodas (I don't like most sodas that much but this one in particular has that zing to it. My friend was super vague about it; he just mentioned the acronym while we were playing Settlers of Catan and I think someone put the robber on one of his hexes when a 7 was rolled. For about a year me and his brother kept pestering him with guesses until we figured out Death for D. The other 3 letters could also stand for things equally as dark since he has a dark sense of humor but that's all we have to go off of.

I have played the Plague app where you try to wipe out the entire human race with a disease. But I haven't played Pandemic the board game and I see from my research that you are actually trying to save the world from a disease? What a novel idea! I will have to check that out sometime and see if I can bring you a perfect round. And I will look into arrangements of cards that allow for the optimal win.

@UnorthodoxMasterOfGames5 жыл бұрын
This is Blokus, a really fun board game we have here in the United States of America. Up to 4 players can play and the only rule is that your pieces can only touch the corners of all your other pieces. The goal is to get rid of as many of your pieces until no players can fit their remaining pieces on the board. I figured out that it is possible for every player to place all of their pieces on the board without any left over!
@UnorthodoxMasterOfGames5 жыл бұрын
Also thank you! I've only had a few people tell me they like my voice so I really appreciate it when someone does and it gives me that motivational boost to keep improving my commentary on my videos!

Wait..... what?? MM is there different sizes because in my game there is 84 slots and 84 stones.. 21 each color
@UnorthodoxMasterOfGames5 жыл бұрын
No I'm pretty sure all Blokus 4-player games have the same size board. My board is a 20x20 grid, so there are 400 individual squares. And mine has 21 pieces per player, and if you add up the individual squares of all 21 pieces of one color, you get 89. And with 4 players, 89 x 4 = 356. And 400 minus 356 = 44, so therefore what I did in the video is possible mathematically with empty squares on the board left over. But of course I proved it visually!
