Wow, thank you so much for this video! I just received a bunch of dragon fruit cuttings from Amazon, some American Beauty, some Yellow Dragon. I live in SW FL, and I know dragon fruit thrive down here, have one growing along my back fence but is spread all over the place on it! Your video shows me I can put them in pots, contain them more than just planting on posts stuck in the ground, I think I will buy a bunch of 4 gallon pots from Lowes and try this, thanks!

Awesome patio dragon fruit farm that you have there. Am sure that it is a lot of work to keep everything watered and healthy. Thanks for these videos! My neighbor's dragon fruit tree is drooping all over my fence, so I'll support it better on my side, and make a bunch of cuttings to replant elsewhere. It's flowers (whiteish yellow) are >6" diameter and I'll hand pollinate them when the time comes.

Gracias bro. I just got one a few months ago. Always wanted to know how to build those trellises. Bless you for teaching that. 🙏🏼 It’s about more or less 2ft big. I have it outside in a 10inch pot. I started to get some yellow spotting at the top of the stem. I think it may be due to freeze burn. Will it be ok? Thank you for your time.

Hi Richard, great demonstration. I really like your technique, you're right a little care and planning can avoid damage and disappointment. One question though, you don't think that four plants in one pot is going to be too much root competition??? I know that it's a big pot, but those plants already had a vigorous root system even though they were only small. Thanks for another great video, take care 😁😁😁🦘🦘🦘

Thank you for tutorial... Do you feel that 2 pitayas instead of 4 could create more vitality? Also, I feel there is too much plastic used... and waste. I like the idea of terracotta planters and a natural hemp rope to tie the cactus to the wooden post. How do the cactuses root on that plastic sheath you have on there?
