How do you get spiders on Dragon Fruit in the first place
@giovannyomar564312 сағат бұрын
Así es y aún ay tanto que aprender porque no siempre aún cruzando el polen el fruto sale grande. Hemos visto que como que no siempre les gusta cierto polen, pero todavía falta mucho por investigar😊

Hey there. I’m looking to start growing some dragon fruit and have been looking at what varieties are good but also what varieties are accessible to me. All I could find were: undatus, megalanthus, costaricensis. Undatus looks the best so I’d like to try that out but what about the others I’ve mentioned, are they better (or self fertile at least unlike undatus)? And if I was growing undatus could I rely on one hylocereus undatus plant pollinating (I’d do it by hand) the other? Or would I need some other hylocereus pollinater because I don’t seem to find any accessible hylocereus pollinator. Thank you for your response.

So I have an American beauty that I hand pollinated but only 1 out of 4 turned into a fruit 😢. Is it too much sun or water? I live in NW Florida, summer are super hot and humid.

would you recommend to remove some of the soil from the top and then top off with top soil?
@phanatix7215 күн бұрын
how about watering cuttings? If I've watered at the beginning of setting the cuttings, do I water it when the top soil is dried? or some other indications or timing? Thanks!

Not sure if you mentioned but am assuming that this is for rooting node cuttings and not the other types of cuts?!

In your experience, how long did it take to root with this method?

Love all your videos but not sure how I missed this one :) Do you replant all your cuttings or do you give away or sell your cuttings? Would love to get some different varieties that you may have. I'm in OC.

Why you not cut cut bigger fruit
@marcusnguyen31855 күн бұрын
What is the best approach for long term success? Graft a Asunta 5 on well established root stock i.e. Vietnam white or grow the cutting with its own root. Ignore kickstart of the established rootstock. Way 4 or 5 years down the road, which one would produce better?

Hi Ricard, i am very new for dragon fruit. Just fell in love. Living at UK not weather for them there. But i am mad enough to try them to grow from seeds what i took from superstore fruit. First attempt was died because if cold. But i tested yellow variety and oh, i must have them. I did try many tit until they sprouted. Now i having small little once. I do want them to grow for cuttings and take them to Africa where us weather much better for them. Do its ok to growe them as they go and then cut from mother plant for cuttings. Just much easier to pack them for transfer.

Hi Richard, I love your videos. I have a question. You plant four dragonfruits per pot. But, I saw your video taste testing Red Jaine. It looked like only one plant was in that pot. Is it better to only have two instead of four. So the roots have more room. I’m using 25 gallon pots. Thank you. Brian
