2 ай бұрынCheap homesteading is showing how to plant potatoes. He is going to explain why he plants his potatoes later to stop potato bugs. Early potatoes attract the flying potato bugs and once a potato bugs finds a patch it stays there all summer long. I find if I plant them a little bit later you have way less bugs.  I want to say thank you to OSC for sending me the Yukon gold potatoes.

I've never planted potatoes with such long stems. I will be interested to see how they grow. Best of luck with those. Take Care Pete.

Pete, your going to have some good potatoes before to long. Hopefully the bugs will stay away. Them rocks are worrisome I can imagine. I seen one gardener who had to rake out his garden every year to keep the rocks out. Have a Blessed Day Friend! Justin
