How to Play 7TV Fantasy

Long listen video on 7TV Fantasy with actual unboxing, review of the rules, actual gameplay and cast selection.
I run through the components of the box set game, take a look at the rule books, talk about the mechanics and then show a game in action with some overviews of dice rolling etc.

You can pick any Star or Co Star providing you don't mix Heroic/Villain characters. The Genre symbols are what determines which Extra's you can take. With plot points you have to imagine you are shooting a movie so not all your cast will be on screen at the same time. Its also a way of limiting powerful Extra's you then need to look at stars/co stars with leader abilities or extra's that have loner to make you cast more efficient plot point wise.

Great approach on the on screen approach with plot points. It's fun using them even though its a bit of bookkeeping.

@@RottenMechGaming it comes with experience. I guess I am a veteran. But even then I still learn something new from time to time.

@@Brummo192 Thats great and it is about time I gave 7TV a proper play. I bought the Spy version and none of my group were keen to play. It is handy most of them have fantasy figures because we can easily find models for Fantasy and play more.

I have a question actually. I mobbed his co-star with 4 skeletons. Is there a bonus or negatives to being mobbed? I looked and thought there was no advantage to mobbing, other than the multiple attacks inbound. It made me wonder if 7TV had been born out of mostly shooting focused games and perhaps lots of in-close hand to hand was not seen as something that would overload a hero/extra?

@@RottenMechGaming No their isn't but if your attacking from the models rear the defender counts as disadvantaged and they can no longer add extra dice using plot points.

Amazing battle board! Love the details like the puddles, textured ground, static grass, and water. Where did you get that circle tile piece? Brilliant!

Thanks for the praise. The circle tile was from a UK vintage home decor store called "Past times". They are long gone. It was a wall decoration (with a hole for a picture hook) roman-style tile and I bought 2 in about 2008 I think and embedded one of them as a general town/village square. It came pre-painted and thats how it came from the store. It is very heavy and about 1cm thick resin. Edit: Also the entire layout is about 12/13 years old.
