Primarily a blues harmonica player but your channel got me wanting to go back to piano practice. Hard to get the time though. My baby daughters attack the keyboard as soon as I start playing lol

You got such a nice touch and fell with blues and boogie. I need to play more keys like this in A or E but my left hand is a bit weeker in these keys, flat's and A, B, E. I willl have to pick up some tips from more of your videos

I sometimes do blues tremolos using the major third, the fifth and the seventh as a trio, with the three corresponding notes a semitone below this for a bit of extra fun or as you say, emphasis.

By seventh I mean what b flat is to the chord of c.

Good! Lots of carryover to D and E from A. Also, it’s not Aminor. It’s an Aminor scale used over A blues changes. 😉

How do you do a tremolo with e and g without hurting your wrist? I’ve been trying to do this for years and haven’t had much luck finding help on this. When I try doing this it’s very slow and if I try to speed it up it sounds uneven.
@thearthurmigliazza

experiment with wrist position. I hold mine slightly to the outside. Chances are you have too much hand tension when you do it, but I don't know without seeing a video of you playing. For even control of the rhythm, take your time speeding it up. Find a tempo you can play 6-tuplets evenly then speed it up by 5 bpm every week (if you are practicing it at least a total of 10 min per day). But again, hard to diagnose without seeing a video. If you want to upload a video and post to the forum at Schoolofboogie.com I will take a look and respond there.
