Winner of the trick leads off. Start player goes to the left each round. Only the very first trick each round can't be led with red but the second trick could be red etc. Red 6 beats red 5 etc
Thanks, yes when we played it online we noticed this, although we both said that wasn't what the rulebook showed and wasn't what was demonstrated to me in person.. However I will update the description. Your description makes me thematic sense although thankfully it doesn't affect gameplay
