I made a singleton 360 card base-neo cube with a twist that has actually worked out really REALLY well: In the draft packs I only include the highest stage evolution and after the draft you get the lower stages for the Pokémon you drafted automatically, like you would basic energy. This allows everyone to be much more flexible and creative in how they draft as well as jack up Pokémon diversity in the cube to the maximum.

Another rule you could make to simplify the process of making a cube could be evolution by type. Just have enough cards to try to balance all the typings you use

aye shout out to cube draft. spent my freetime during the pandemic sorting my childhood collection and building a WotC cube and even got my friends into building their own cubes. keep spreading the good word about cube 🙏

That sounds amazing, I’m currently work on one similar! It’s just a fun way to enjoy the game with friends, with some of those older cards!

@Woody [REC] so far I have really loved Gardevoir ex Delta species from celebrations but we have kind of errata'd it to make it more fair basically the imprison counters quit working if it leaves the active so it isn't so permanent

I have based it around prime and original ex mons they are on the same power level basically so I use Hp to decide prize exchange

I think that makes sense, quite a powerful and unique ability! The delta species Pokémon in general are really cool, I’ve got the Blastoise and few others in mine!

Takes a lot of time? I would shuffle the whole lot of older unused cards and that's it. Do your decks and pick the energy you need form the stock to finish it off.
