How to play Dancing in the Dark - Ben Howard cover guitar TAB tutorial

Hey everyone, here's my tutorial for Ben Howard's cover of Dancing in the Dark. Enjoy!
The tab for this tutorial, as with all my tutorials can be found on my website www.banthamlegend.com. It's a free download, no hidden catch or anything. I just ask that you disable ad blocking software, that way I might get to retire a few years early ;)
Incidentally, you might notice that I've included the lyrics within the on-screen tab and I've tried to line up the words and syllables with the appropriate notes. This is for a future video where I'm going to try to teach you to sing and play at the same time! Let me know if you think that would be helpful in the comment section :)
The guitar is tuned to CGCGGC.
On a tuner it will show C2, G2, C3, G3, G3, C4.

I love the way Bruce uses chords. This simplified version seems to lack those changes to minor etc Interesting though :)

Some of the 'chords' use only the root and 5th at various octave separations so the whole major/minor thing is a bit arbitrary. Plus it's a cover so some differences add to the interest.

Hey, I really appreciate your work, it's really helped with my guitar playing. Do you think you could check out a song called time of the blue by tallest man on earth. It's a cool song; I hope you like it and if you could let me know the tuning that would be awesome and even better do a tutorial ;-) thanks :-)

+Amit Mate It has indeed been a while, not had time to record for weeks. Work, kids, her indoors, the dog... I swear the world is conspiring against me to keep me off KZfaq. But the good news is that I'm still learning tunes both for covers and tutorials, such as Man in the Station and Head and Heart by John Martyn, Broken and You and Me by Jake Bugg, and of course some BH tunes, maybe Esmeralda in a pick and go style and Depth Over Distance. And now I have over 1000 subs so I feel that the next video I do should be an original song. I want that to sound really good and I don't want to rush it. So stay tuned, more content is coming, promise! Pete
