​@@-PVL93-​ Konami took almost 25 years to make even one single live-service Yu-Gi-Oh game that was on all platforms, let alone the normal OCG, let alone on console (DS was the official tournament game and PSP didn't play standard Yu-Gi-Oh, 3DS didn't really exist). Gwent is most certainly not on consoles if you looked, so that's just not true. The Xbox Preview (Beta) certainly doesn't count as a release and it's not available now anywhere. Back to the PC/Mobile only prison. With the very new exception of YGO Master Duel, there's not one online card game available digitally on every platform, some aren't even actively available on the platforms they are anymore. DragonBall Card Warriors never got the separate app and is has stopped development. Hearthstone never escaped PC/Mobile even though a Switch version was proposed, neither did Runeterra, Marvel Snap hasn't yet. Yu-Gi-Oh Legacy of the Duelist wasn't live service updated nor did it have the same features everywhere (Nintendo Switch vers LACKS Cloud Saves, so your data is lost if you change to another Switch and no version has cross-progression). Cardfight Vanguard's games are PC and Switch only and obscenely expensive (and surprisingly has Cloud Saves on Switch unlike LOTD). Even Ubisoft's UNO doesn't support cross-platform-progression, only same family and cross-play (you also had to buy it twice on a few). Master Duel is the irregularity, especially with cross-progression (especially with Sony's policies about cross-platform play+progression). Most card games don't even have a digital version even if new(!), like Digimon Card Game (7th version), Fire Emblem Cipher, or Final Fantasy TCG.

This is Bandai-Namco. DragonBall Heroes original is Japan arcade only, The console game (World Mission) is a glitchy, mistranslated mess even for a mostly single player game. DragonBall Card Warriors had the separate app (from Kakarot) canceled and now it's dead. Digimon Card Game didn't even get a digital version. Give up hope.

Well the thing is Japan now are in charge of this game for the Japanese area so that’s why they are essentially soft rebooting this game

That’s because there isn’t any difference. It’s mechanically the exact same game but with cards with simple effects. Because the current cards are more complex and they couldn’t be bothered to add them so they just made a new game… that functions exactly the same

You also cannot have more than one color in your deck (until multicolored leaders I suppose) as it says in the video your cards have to have the same color as your leader

The mulligan has also been altered. Now you have to mulligan all cards or no cards. Instead of the old system of mulliganing only the cards you want

Fusion world decks are coming with codes for the sim, which means it most likely will be coming out around the time of the starter deck relases.

It shares way more DNA with the old DBS card game than Piece. It just uses Piece's (frankly worse) counter window. In that the counter window doesn't exist anymore.

For more casual people like me it's actually exiting because tbh I've never even heard of masters as I see people calling what I'm assuming is a previous db card game until now. To me it seems pretty cool and that's really all I can say. I also see people complaining about the card designs but I don't really see the issue

This is a soft reboot. Old game is now DBS Masters, this is DBS Fusion World. Different cards, different games. Not compatible together either. FW will have online app/version too.

You can play with 50 against 60

There is no battle phase. During main phase you can play cards and attack in any order you wish as long as you have the resources to do so.
