My brain is currently too mush to read through the book. Got the game today. This video and your playthrough was a great way to learn the game. I'll still read through the book at some point before trying it out.

I know right... Such a shame because so many games have incredible art and production value these days but are WAY over designed. To me it seems modern designers tend to top mechanics on top of mechanics in their design process, while it's all clear in their heads, but tend forget that the people who will actually buy and play the game haven't spent the past year or so submerged in it like they did. This creates extremely long downtime between turns and 80% of the conversation at the table is about the rules and describing everything a player is doing so everyone follows. Not my kind of game.
