Watching Justin and Jerry duke it out is always fun, no matter what game they're playing. This starter set looks like it lets you field quite a large battle which is a great way to introduce people to a new system (no having to buy a bunch of other sets to get a true feel for the game like *some* other collectible miniature games I could name). Plus, the aesthetic of this game is just great - I mean, who doesn't want to fly into battle with a bunch of dirigeables, rotary ships, and planes along with a surface fleet? And this set in particular (pitting the Imperium versus the Crown forces) is a classic matchup.

I got to try this at the Games Expo and was given the Demo game by the same Guy giving you introduction. Was fun and felt like the Classic GW Battlefleet Gothic Game.

I am loving what Warcradle Studios has done with this IP. They have a good start on the ships and aircraft. I am looking forward to what they do with the landships and armor line.

I think I prefer the target choice and end of round activation for the SRS as opposed to keeping them moving around the board. It's less tactical, but also much cleaner.

Dystopian Wars doesn’t use any sort of grid for setup or maneuvering, it’s a “linear inch” style system. Direct measurements.

Voltaic changes the crit to the generator shut down result It doesn't give an additional critical that is generator shutdown.
