Today we have a build for Kurapika from Hunter x Hunter in Dungeons & Dragons. If you want to master every type of nen in D&D 5e, this is the build for you!

Honestly what made me like kurapika is he brought a shovel to his fight with Uvogin. Thats a level of disrespect that all dnd players should aspire to. It basically says "I know I'm going to kill you and I plan on giving you an unmarked grave."

I mean, he’s a conjurer technically he could have just *made* one in the scene, but the idea that he went out, got a real shovel, and brought it with him to the fight is just too hilarious to give up on

I think "Geas" should probably be pronounced as "*Ghee • ahs (* pronounced guh, not juh)". It's probably based on the same Gaelic/Irish folklore concept that was used as inspiration for " Code Geass".

@@coldbeef5356 I mean, yeah. He can only use all forms against said group, otherwise he can only use most of them. Those are the terms of the Nen Contract. I guess he technically can use all forms against someone else, but only once because it'd kill him.

@@patdav56 Inquisitive Rogue might not be that bad either, but Layton is primarily an archaeologist, not a detective, as he'd probably tell you himself. If he goes Inq Rogue, its probably a small dip.

Know you don't really check out comment section any more but always love seeing you make Nen users and Kurapika is another fun one to watch while working on my homebrew. Now to go back and rewatch the other HunterxHunter characters and wonder if we'll ever get Knuckle or Shoot

The tale of vengeance is written in blood, and to follow it you need great focus, like mine asking for a Tangle the lemur build from Sir Tulok (btw, please?), To achieve revenge for the Uchiha clan...what? Wrong character? Kurapika [REDACTED] Is one of the main protagonist of the series, a young man, last survivor of his clan (who had the equivalent of rubies for eyes), that similarity to his peers fiends could kill you in horrific ways, mixing his talent in nen and his powerful eyes he become a blacklist hunter, to find the members of the phantom troupe to enact revenge. Be mindful of the saying "in the way of revenge dig two graves" and keep your shenanigans in control, you are in a party that might find frightening that you are collecting eyes.

"Geas" is derived from an old gaelic word, so the pronunciation doesn't really have a direct equivalent in English. I pronounce it "gesh", which is what Wikipedia seems to think is closest.

You could also go Hexblade Warlock + War Cleric. Armor Class might not be that high, but it’s still a great Kurapika build. (Kurapika also had healing powers.)

@@DarkZantz Honestly, I was thinking Bear totem for the toughness, but Berserker, despite it's issues, could work well for him. Honestly...maybe a little bit of some kind of Cleric or Druid? Dude is pretty much vibing with the world, most of the time.
