The funny thing is, GTO still has an answer for every bet size So it’s not that you’re actually leaving GTO if your opponent does something “unexpected”. It’s just that we as humans tend to focus on studying the “common” branches. But in reality, your opponent can do anything they want (no matter how terrible for themselves), and GTO will still give the optimal response, if you look for it As for the particular example at hand, adjusting is pretty straightforward. Even if you’ve never seen or expected that branch, and your opponent suddenly makes a much larger bet size than they’re “supposed” to in this spot, GTO already teaches us heuristics about this. Namely, larger bets don’t need to be “defended” as often. So if they bet “too big”, then it’s rather clear that you’re going to raise/call less, and fold more. Nothing too fancy about it (Point being, studying the “common” branches is still an effective tool. Because if the opponent is more aggressive or less aggressive than they’re “supposed” to be in any spot, then we already have general GTO heuristics that specifically show us how to modify our response)

Hi, I'm not sure I understand your question but I think you're asking if the modules in the Lab also have slides with text to help you follow along? The answer to that question is that some of them have slides while others have different visual aids.

Tough to answer without seeing their specific sims. Could be that their rake structure is high so the BB's range is stronger. Could be that you're looking at a different positional matcup. Or could be that those particular GTOW sims have a relatively high exploitability level and needed to be ran for longer (which happens sometimes on that product from what I've heard).

I usually back everything up in these podcasts with referencing a solver, and there aren't any multiway solvers that I have access to, but my intuition tells me that first and foremost there are going to be almost no scenarios where you want to rangebet on any paired boards, maybe if you're 3 ways to the flop but 4/5/6+ ways I wouldn't be rangebetting. Obviously when there are more players in the pot the likeliness of someone else holding trips increases, even on a good board for us like AA6 rainbow. To go one step further, instead of cbetting, say, 50% of the time on 655, this frequency will drastically decrease because this is a bad paired board for us, and lots of those callers can for sure have a 5 in their hand. In summary - I don't think we should ever bet always on any paired board multiway, and on the bad paired boards we should be checking even more!
