I think it was a missed opportunity to have a Scream game without hidden roles, being one of the players the killer. That's kinda the whole point of the movies, trying to guess who the killer is.

yeah maybe, I think they made a pretty fun, accessible game though.

But how do you know if someone has a specific card or not? Or is it just called out in the group?

Just ask for it, ‘Anyone have a Popcorn?’ It can get hectic :)
