It is more complex than it needs to be! Get cards with symbols, move up on the matching symbol tracks. That’s all it is but the way you get cards and score is a little odd.

@@JestaThaRogue I'd recommend it if you could get a copy. We house rule it that if dice land on a borderline the score doubles, also we play 4 rounds - left hand throw, right hand throw, flick, and eyes closed. Bought a full pack of extra dice and play with like 15-16 people at a time, absolute carnage 🤣

#2 is very fun. :) My experience of Blood on the Clocktower has been ruined by experienced players making new players play a certain way. Took the fun out of it for me. Still won both games :D

Yeah, games with movement and line of sight are usually more complicated than the by need to be. It’s a shame they didn’t follow the way some other games work to keep the rules more streamlined to focus on guns and loot :)

I played it at least once with family and it was hard keeping track of everything even though I have reread the rules several times and watched several video play throughs. Maybe it is because this is the first time I played a board game like this though. Your video on it did help though, I watched it several times and I would still catch things on repeat viewings that helped clear up things I was confused on. 😅

@@gabrielzeroswe was like that too, but we played the first scenario until we grasped the game and now we’re pretty solid on the rules and the game feels simple now.

According to other comments I’ve been too harsh :) I just don’t want to get angry and rant and rave. The day after this vid and BoardGameWires second interview they posted their first update in 9 months so we’ll see what happens. :)

@IosifStalin2 are you kidding me? 3 years late for starters. Constantly making false promises and without this video, and boardgamewire and others we wouldn’t have had an update this month. Also, the game isn’t ‘late’ it’s ‘undelivered’ with no reason to believe September this year is realistic based on how many times they’ve said ‘it’s coming’ and it hasn’t.

@@JestaThaRogue it’s just a boardgame. Most of us have many other boardgame distractions. We should give all of these poor folk a sympathetic Pandemic break. In normal times, this would be unacceptable.

Thanks Michael. I think we’re lucky that a lot of us got the base game in the first Kickstarter so we have been able to play and not have it ruined by this experience :)

I’m sure 99.9% are either well managed or at least within an acceptable level of service even with delays. But yes, you’ve been lucky… so far :)

Most have delays and many have issues, it's part of it, things happen. It's when they go silent for months I worry.

Foolishly? Watch the video first before putting on your big boy pants and getting mummy to type for you. People like you and this attitude are the reason Kickstarter is the way it is. If you had a brain cell you would see that and not let them walk all over you. Also, because of me ‘bitching’ and a couple of others ‘bitching’, Funforge have updated for the first time in 9 months so at least I’m doing something and not just moaning in the KZfaq comments like a sad little baby.

If they delivered on a previous campaign, why would backing a 2nd campaign be foolish?

He says nothing of the sort. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad I decided not to back this, but there's nothing nefarious here, just "poorly managed company is managed poorly." Nothing he says in that interview is particularly outlandish or unusual. Small companies of all kinds struggle with liquid asset management and underestimate shipping costs on the regular. Doesn't mean you shouldn't be annoyed at how long delivery has taken, but there's no conspiracy or scam here. Just poor planning and bad luck.

Yeah agree. He doesn’t say he didn’t care. But at this point anything he says should be ignored until action is taken.

I backed the minis African Expansion and the Titans foolishly. I caved and purchased the retail African Expansion on Amazon last week while it was $35. I guess I can proxy out different minis if my kickstarter version never arrives.
