This has been my favourite piece of guitar music and lyrics since I could first talk, I play it so often, im not surprised it's the most played song, what's not to like about, I worked for George benson during the 1980's as his personal assistant, I was so lucky he did a private rendition of it for me, I had been playing harmonica for a few years, I jammed along to the best of my abilities, it's just a treasured memory now, how I wish it was today, being able to record fantastic quality on your mobile phone, didn't have that in 87, I have to access the RAM/mind that God gave me.❤

Marco - the third chord of the progression, a Major7 chord, got labeled wrong in the video in two places (got labled as minor7). Sorry if this was pointed out already. Anyway thanks for the nice lesson - I love the bass and chords approach!

The title is 100% false. What an odd thing to say. It was popular in the mid-late 60s, lots of covers by artists who wanted something simple to throw on an album, and by far the biggest hit Bobby ever made. It's fine, but why lie?

yeah it's false - but relegating it to the mid 60's is false as well - it has been covered by 100's of artists thru the 70's 80's 90's and every year so far in the 21st century
