In this video we cover how to play the "perfect" flick shot by taking you through a full cricket batting drills set. The flick shot is one of the more difficult shots in cricket as the timing and body placement has to be "perfect" so hopefully by doing the batting drills in this video, you can add the flick shot to your batting arsenal.

One tip that i have learned myself is that the flick should be 100% instinct. If you do that you are guaranteed 2. As soon as it is forced, thats when the singles and dots come. Trust me, i would never before in my life have considered playing anything thats not a drive or pull but it is very good. It happens when it happens, but learn when to prime yourself to play the foick, find whats comfortable, you don’t have that much freedom like the pull or cut

Hey there, go check out some of our batting against fast bowling videos... We have one about conquering your fear of the short ball, as well as one with some tips to play fast bowling. In general, just relax and watch the ball, if your body is stiff you will move slower when batting💪🏻👌🏻

Sir when playing ondrive you can twist the backleg while playing coverdrive it shouldn't be twisted right just lift the heel right

Stage 3 must come before stage 2

That's not a bad point at all, you could definitely inverse those two stages while just being stationary focusing on contact point.

Not if its just for a specific drill purposes. Obviously most of the time you would want to use cricket or bowling machine balls🙌
