Hi, how do you keep to high D string from ringing when strumming the C chord? Thanks.

Hi, sorry about the delay in reply. I've been away on tour for the past 9 weeks and just catching up on things now. Good question, when I play a C chord in DADGAD I use the fleshy part of my third finger to mute the high D string and stop it ringing out. Rather than arching your hand completely, just let it go a bit more relaxed and the mute of the high D string should happen naturally. And if not, just play around with it and see what works for your hand, it might be the flesh of your first finger or even upper palm that make the mute, it's just a case of trial and error. Hope that helps.
